The TT3-BE is the Bronze Edition module of the TestTRONIK SOLO Electric lineup, TestTRONIK’s entry-level unit. It pairs a standard digital display, showing either voltage or current with manual selection between the two, with the TT3-BR wireless remote control: a display-free remote that still gives full remote control of the unit. LED indicator lights show which circuit is activated and flag crossed or improperly connected wires, with no automatic test sequence or printable report. The module already includes the standard 7-pin electrical plug, the 7-pin flat RV plug, and the 4-and-5-pin round adapter for domestic trailers. This listing covers the unit, remote, and these plugs only: the base bracket, power converter, and extension cords come with the SOLO Bronze kits (starting with the TT3-BEK).

TESTTRONIK TT3

TestTRONIK simulates the presence of a tow vehicle connected to a trailer or semi-trailer. The unit controls activation of the trailer's electrical and/or pneumatic circuits, with or without a wireless remote control, without requiring an actual vehicle. The digital gauges or analog display accurately show current consumption and provide real-time voltage readings. Users can also quickly determine whether a wire is broken, crossed, or improperly connected.

With the wireless remote control, users manage all test results and analyses directly from the handheld unit. The color digital display integrated into the remote control enables a wide range of tests and remote controls. With the wireless remote control, users can remain under the trailer to activate the brakes and observe their operation, activate the lighting while viewing it, and receive instant diagnostic feedback.

Our brand-new Gold Edition can now save test reports for your records and share them with your clients. The Gold DUO model integrates precise digital pneumatic sensors along with a complete pneumatic self-diagnostic system for detecting air leaks — designed to push your diagnostics further, and make them easier than ever before.

INSTALLATION - GETTING STARTED

This unit requires a 12-volt power supply to operate. Depending on the model purchased, a power converter/charger may or may not be built in. If the unit is powered solely by the converter and a power outage occurs, all activated functions will shut off — which could result in serious mechanical damage and/or injury to the mechanic. We strongly recommend always using a battery, even when a converter is included. Follow these simple steps to assemble the unit, if not already done:

  • Connect a standard 7-pin electrical cord to the unit's 7-pin receptacle.
  • Install and connect a battery, and/or plug the electrical cord directly into a 120-volt power source.

Press the on/off button to power on the unit. Once powered, the display will light up and the unit will be ready for use. The remote is normally pre-synced at the factory, so it should be functional as soon as it's connected.
