TP2 is our standard system, it is more popular in the dump truck type of truck but still has all the nice features of our high-quality electronic product development but without having the ability to use the WIFI option. Almost 95% of our customers did prefer the WIFI option for having the truck and trailer working together without any wire between them. TP2 can only work with a wired Truck and Trailer kit.

The TP2-TCB1 set includes a 2x 7 pin receptacle, 2x mounting plate for the receptacle, 1x mounting plate for sensor if necessary, 1x 15 feet coiled cable and 1x our contactless sensor. These 2x 7 pin receptacles are used to make the communication with all the units, from the truck to the front trailer and the back trailer with wire. The electrical installation is quick and simple.

INSTALLATION #1

The standard installation of our systems is quick and easy. Find the place where you want to install the heavy duty 7-wire socket, use the aluminum support provided if necessary, then install the sensor preferably in a horizontal orientation in the front of the trailer and plug everything together.

INSTALLATION #2

Some customers now use a 25 foot wired extension to allow the installation of the sensor at the rear of the trailer. This new positioning helps the operating efficiency of the sensor allowing it to compensate for the flexibility of the front of the trailer and the chassis which can cause false alarms.
